 Maybe I am a might bit early for this but if I wait til the first I'll only be crowded y a  bunch of other sentiments.  My closer recollections were with Gary as 7th graders at St. Joseph's in Homewood.  We'd board the IC in Homewood and get kicked off in Hazel Crest after telling the conductor we were going to Harvey.  The Gary would invite the conductor to stop in at Frank and Connie's (his parents bar on the corner) and the conductor would know he'd been had.  If you have quips about Buddy or Gary leave them in the comment section.
